| The winner is Victoria Suponitsky of the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. The award-winning presentation was given at the Twelfth Israel Symposium on Computational Mechanics (ISCM-12) on 11 April, 2002, at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel. Ms. Suponitsky will present her paper at the 16th AIAA Computational Fluid Dynamics Conference, with IACMM support for expenses in attending the meeting. In addition to the award, Ms. Suponitsky received a certificate from IACMM at the Thirteenth Israel Symposium on Computational Mechanics (ISCM-13) on Thursday, 10 October, 2002 at the The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. |

Second prize goes to Shmulik Keidar of Bercom Ltd., Petah Tikvah. His presentation was given at the Eleventh Israel Symposium on Computational Mechanics (ISCM-11) on 18 October, 2001 at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer-Sheva, Israel. Mr. Keidar received complimentary IACMM membership for three years, as well as a certificate from IACMM.
