For the purposes of the Association we define the subject of Computational Mechanics as the development and application of Numerical Methods and Digital Computers to the solution of problems posed by Engineering and Applied Science with the objectives of understanding and harnessing the resources of nature.

IACMM Lecture Competition:
All lectures to be included in ISCM-25 and ISCM-26 will be included in the IACMM Lecture Competition.
The judges for this competition will be announced.
Any speaker is eligible to participate in the competition, except the judges and their students.
The winner of the 2nd place will get a certificate and a free IACMM membership for one year.
The winner of the 1st place will get IACMM support to go to a CM conference in Europe.
The exact level of the support will be announced.
